Thyroid Cancer & Immune System Support

I recently had the left side of my thyroid removed and found out that it was stage 1 cancer. I am waiting to see if I need additional treatment but until then I am trying to deal with extreme fatigue, it’s common since my body is still adapting to my new normal. I’ve also been experiencing headaches, joint pain, difficulty concentrating and depression. These are also common post op. This week alone I was late to work two days and couldn’t even get out of bed the third day. I am not the kind of person who can just lay around all day and missing work stresses me out. So yesterday the 3rd day I felt like this I did some research and tried as many remedies as I could.

I picked up this green juice from the health food store near me, it has celery, kale, apple, turmeric, ginger and lemon.
Reishi mushrooms are an adaptogen and help decrease depression and fatigue and increase T cells to help fight cancer.
Over the weekend I picked up a women’s multivitamin which has a lot of helpful ingredients but when I still felt exhausted after 3 days I went back to get the thyroid strength.
I have been making a conscious effort to eat more fruits to increase my vitamin c and antioxidant intake.
At night I love to make a hot sipping broth I just use 1 spoon of better than bouillon chicken base, 1/2 lemon, 1 spoon of garlic and some jalapeño it helps fight cravings and is soothing and yummy.

I can’t say I feel back to 100% maybe just 15% better but seeing as how I have another month until I know the next steps for my treatment it was important for me to know that I’m doing everything in my power to heal.
